Metal putty is a manually kneadable, putty-like and easy-to-process epoxy material, which is mixed for a few minutes and can then be used for permanent repairs, maintenance, construction and assembly. Metal putty is ideal for patching, repairing and sealing, fastening, joining and bonding fiberglass, metal, wood, concrete, glass and ceramics. Metal Putty even adheres to wet surfaces, including underwater (salt and fresh water), and offers excellent resistance to oil, petrol, water and many chemicals. The product can also be reworked afterwards, e.g. sanded, drilled and/or painted over.
Sealing and repairing leaks, cracks, holes and misdrilled holes in tanks, containers or drums, right through to repairs of broken edges and porous areas. Modelling replacement parts and attaching hooks to walls is also possible with metal putty.
Metal putty is particularly suitable for underwater applications, saturated salt solutions, leaded petrol, alcohol as well as oil products according to ASTM 3 and propylene glycol products. It is not recommended to expose metal putty to concentrated acids and organic solvents for long periods.
