Araldite® 2052-1 provides excellent strength values on metals as well as on rigid plastics, even without special pretreatment of the parts to be bonded. Normal rolling oil and drawing oil residues are relatively compatible with Araldite® 2052-1. The adhesive has good thermal stability and good gap-filling properties for gaps with a width of at least 5 mm.
