Araldite® 2052-1 provides excellent strength values on metals as well as on rigid plastics, even without special pre-treatment of the parts to be bonded. Normal rolling oil and drawing oil residues are relatively compatible with Araldite® 2052-1. The adhesive offers good thermal stability and good gap-filling properties for joints with a width of at least 5 mm.
